Originally made for the PlayStation Portable, it has been ported to the PlayStation 3 game system. In the US game charts, Dark Resurrection is 5th on the list of the best selling games for July-August. It has been confirmed that the game is one of the most successful games of Summer 2006. This game includes three characters that weren't in Tekken 5, new game modes, and four new stages as well as remakes of the others. It is the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 version of Tekken 5. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection (released as Tekken: Dark Resurrection on the PlayStation Portable) is the seventh installment in the popular Tekken video game franchise.
